BE YOU VIRTUAL PHOTOSHOOT

Hey fashion family, welcome back to KCL! Although we are currently living in unprecedented times, whether you are on campus this year or remote, fashion can truly help by giving you an avenue to express yourself and be you. In the spirit of being yourself, we had our first virtual photoshoot this month where the theme was to be you. All society members were called on to wear items that allow them to truly feel like themselves, with poses to match of course!

Here are a few of the snaps we got from some of the fashion society members.

Molly

What we loved about this look is the use of accessories! Sunglasses and a bandanna can really add an extra dimension to your outfit. Being experimental with accessories is always fun.

Nazli

Here is Nazli, our vice president, really working those poses! As festive season is around the corner, the use of sparkles is very on trend. Paired with a red lip for a bold look.

Mia

Another great picture from one of our members. The photoshoot was a lot of fun for members because they could play around with different poses and props, such as here with the use of flowers for a playful look.

Shawda

Shawda serving LOOKS with this oversized corduroy jacket and a killer pose to match. Fashion is all about being able to express yourself through your clothes and feeling confident inside and out.

Kalina

The bold jacket here really does scream ‘BE YOU!’ (don’t mind the shameless pun). It was lots of fun for the photographer to help the members express themselves and give direction so we could find the best shot. The pose and jacket here made for a great shot.

Nicole

Another great pose! We look how this look is candid. The resting arm pose manages to showcase small details such as Nicole’s silver watch to match the silver necklace.

Lucja

Props props and more props! We love how experimental our members got with using things they had accessible to them to use in the online shoot. Here Lucja is utilising fairy lights which created a great shot because of the contrast in dimness of the background to the brightness of the lights

Shruti

This is a great effortless look. The blue adidas jacket, paired with blue jeans and white trainers is a staple outfit you could imagine wearing when campus teaching does properly resume (fingers crossed!)

That’s the end of our round up following the virtual event! We look forward to seeing you all soon. We hope everyone is staying safe x
